Weekend 27/28/29 June 2008
Weekend started on Friday for some of us. Phil Hammond from the Courier Mail visited and had an extended flight in NTT. John Zoanetti sans Cessna door took the photographer for some air to air shots. See Friday's Courier Mail. There were excellent thermals averaging 3 to 4 kts to 5000ft. Saturday was the pick of the days. There were 10 knot average climbs reported and John Feeney completed the Rimfire task (again) quite easily. Sunday was very busy with students. The lift was a bit patchy but there for the persistent.
