A good day yesterday (Sunday) as we passed the winter solstice on Saturday. The days will start getting longer again giving more time for gliding. Ziggy did 2hrs 40 in his SZD-55 and, as usual, Mr Feeney and grandson Kael managed well over 2 hrs in NTT. Stewart Hamey, one of our new AEI's handled the passengers. Peter Sampson brought several of his friends out for a flight on what was a perfect winter's daay, 22 degrees, light winds from the southwest and a cloudless crystal blue sky.
