An Air Experience Flight allows you to have some 'hands on' time with a qualified instructor while enjoying the fabulous scenery around the Scenic Rim.
We take bookings for every weekend and all public holidays.
Standard Air Experience $145.00 Book
3000 foot aerotow and up to 20 minutes in a two seat training aircraft. These flights are designed to let you "try" gliding. Your instructor will invite you onto the controls. You'll be suprised at how easy it is. Of course we'll leave taking-off and landing to him or her.
Deluxe Air Experience $170.00 Book
Same as above but this is a far better option as the 4000 foot aerotow allows the passenger to have a real go at flying the glider. The view is far more spectacular and the flight will last 30 minutes plus.
Aerobatic Air Experience $250.00 Book
Fully Aerobatic flight for the thrillseeker. The glider is towed to 5000ft and your instructor will introduce you in stages to aerobatic flight. It can be "full-on" or quite gentle. As with the other flights you will be invited to "take the controls" and experience real flying.
Three Pack $320.00 Book
This is a day's flying for those who want more than just a taste. Three seperate flights comprising 1 aerotow to 4000 ft and 2 aerotows to 2800ft. Can be done over 2 consecutive days if required.
The Grand Tour $275.00 Book
Take off from Boonah in a higher performance Self-Launching glider and head out towards the Great Dividing Range. Enjoy an Eagle’s Eye view of the Scenic Rim. This is a 1 hour flight which will provide a hands-on experience and the best views of a truly beautiful landscape. If required the engine can be unfolded, re-started and climb back to gliding height. This flight is available 7 days a week by arrangement.
